Great review and summary of the Wankel family! I've been lucky enough to own, drive and race many of the Mazda RX's. Together with my Dad, we still own nearly all of your famed list, a first and third gen RX-7 and an RX-2, but not a coupe unfortunately. Whilst the Rotary engine didn't survive as long as Mazda expected, I'll continue to run "circles around the old system"!
