hey ponyrider, i tried the push enter twice trick the other day and it did not work that time . i was also impressed by the 318i's handling. but found the1800/1900cc engine very underwhelming and the 6cyl 3 series got too heavy and therefore loses the handling advantage of the 4cyl . i think the best bang for your buck can be had with the 135i which is a twin turbo 3 litre, 2 door .225kw, 1450kg available in manual and non M, can be under $17k .
