I kind of waver between marvelling at the brash confidence the US auto industry always had and the sheer impractical nature of styling like that, especially when they seem to revise it every 18 months in radical new ways. On modern cars there seems to be a competition where they try to produce the ugliest nose imaginable, the tailfin era seems kinda tame in comparison.
