It does seem that we live in an age when people are much less likely to personalise their vehicle with stickers than in the past. Those of us who are old enough will remember when every tourist destination had a sticker for visitors to plaster onto their car or caravan. Then there were stickers promoting sporting teams and l recall particularly AFL team stickers. Radio stations also had promotional stickers 3XY, 3UZ and others l am sure. Performance parts often came with a brand sticker so that you could advertise the brand or brands of speed parts which your vehicle was potentially equipped with. Edelbrock, Holley and Crane most stick in my memory. Then there were stickers for no good reason except personal preference. Ed Roth cartoons along with various caricatures such as Mr Horsepower. Now its all baby on board and stupid "My Family" stickers.
