For me, my collection of Aussie mags - Wheels from 1953, Modern Motor from 1954 and Motor Manual/Cars Australia from 1946 up to the late 1980s is an invaluable source of information. Not only that, there's nothing like an evening half watching TV and going through a year's mags. The fact that they're available digitally is fine, but if you want to immerse yourself into the feel of the period, there's no substitute for the real thing. The older ones don't take up as much room, as those from the '90s. As it is, the shelves are 2.5 metres long and I'm lucky enough to have the space. DB, you're right, no-one wants old mags, when I'm gone, the silverfish will move in.
