Motown1 has put me on the spot ... okay, first up, the obvious targets have historically proven to be low volume performance cars, so yeah, that puts the HSV Coupe 4 fair and square in the firing line. It's not typical of the HSV brand, and wasn't received all that well in the market, but strangely enough those aspects make it rare and desirable for the future ... and curiously, the HSV Coupe 4 crosses Holden Monaro boundaries in that it was produced in both 2004 V2 (HSV Y-series) and 2005 VZ (HSV Z-series) versions. Talking of 2005, Holden's swansong Monaro, the VZ series CV8-Z must also rate a mention as should HSV's 2006 swansong Z-series Coupe GTO LE. Whilst I'm still in the land of the Red Lion, I'd suggest that any 2006 VZ Commodore SV8 or SS sedan could be a future desirable in that year's relatively rare 6.0 litre L76 Gen 4 V8 form ... and, this donk was also available as an option on the last of VZ Berlina and Calais too.
