my dad owned a local RHD 64 Galaxie 4 door hardtop - that was a special car Blue with a RED /silver fleck interior and the Edsel dash was pretty "space age" 390 auto , he had it a few years then had the local RHD 68 Galaxie 390 auto with ud A/C fitted .....then a 71(or 2?) LTD version..... as a kid I was stoked to be cruising in those rockets ....personally I have had the USA 55 56 57 66(GT) hardtop Fairlanes ,59 Galaxie as hartop and convertible , and local Aussie Fairlanes Z A B C D ..luv em all , great article thnx
