An offshoot of Cars Today was a series of magazines called Sports Cars and Specials. Many of its articles were from the US magazine Road & Track, but there was some local input. An article by Ian Fraser in issue No 3 which should please DrJohn is a test on the Fiat 1100. Judging from the Fiat's number plate it is sometime in 1955. The magazine went monthly in 1956, but I've only got August and September issues. They probably folded in early '57, which by coincidence (or not) was when the Melbourne Argus newspaper called it quits. Harry Firth was also a contributor - "How I Built Australia's Fastest TR2" and "Top Team Wins Two Big Trials".
