Good article. As you look out all day of course all you see is the 'cockpit' and I don't think I ever tire of my '62 Thunderbird, although at least a decent glove box or a cup holder would be a bonus these days! I'll never forget my first accident as passenger in an FB Holden, which was inherited by my mate from his father. A bit of a smack to the back to the car in front, which forever left the imprint of my knees in the glove box lid when I slid forward on impact. Quite painful as I recall too.
