Brings back memories Mark! I remember the 24/80 ad being shown at a dealer meeting in Melbourne when the car was being launched. It was, as you say a remarkably sophisticated look, but there were posters all round the room depicting the car in this rural scene. This prompted one of the city dealers to remark "What are we selling, Wolseleys or windmills?" One of the real down to earth bush dealers said "Don't worry, I sell heaps of both".
