Hey BentleyT I will be interested to see what John192 thinks of the Bristol 412. You sound like you are really disappointed in Zagato. I didn't think the design is ugly but I can understand that you expected more from Zagato in view of some of his better designs. .It doesn't look like the sort of image that Bristol would produce that's for sure I'm going by some of the beautiful shapes the company produced in early days. . The 1948 Bristol 400 is the only Bristol I have seen close up "in the flesh" and it is a beautiful car IMHO. It belonged to the Accountant at an Entertainment Agency in Melbourne.
