To almost muddy the waters a little, today I saw the usual multitude of Teslas, one Kia EV6 and then a light blue with matching wheels, base model Taycan. It was absolutely gorgeous to look at and for a moment I pondered if the looks were enough to make up for the shortfalls in power, technology and the extra $100k spend. The answer was still no but I would learn to live with it. On the plus side, the average punter would not know if your Porsche was $200k or $300k, similar to the reactions I have had with my Cayman.
