When I first purchased this car it had done 98000 miles. The motor was smoking and promply replaced with a secondhand changeover. The original motor sat in my garage for the next 25 years until I decided to get it reconditioned. At around that time I had aquired an FJ Ute as a restoration project, although looking at the before photo it was more like a resurrection project. The original motor from the sedan was recondioned and refitted to the sedan, while the other motor was transplanted into the Ute.
