I sold my perfectly reliable 2007 Hyundai Getz when it had done just under 160,000 kms. It already had a new timing belt, had been serviced according to the book and was running like a dream. To me, this was the best time to let it go as I didn't want to start spending money on it, and I wanted something bigger for long journeys. It took a while to sell as it was a 5-speed manual, as today's younger buyers are challenged if it's not an auto. A Brazilian student bought it as she was brought up with manual Hyundais. I saw it about three years later and it was still running well.
