My thoughts are that eventually EVs will be the majority of new car sales with a progressive reduction in ICE vehicles due to market forces and a reduced worldwide ICE vehicle production but they will not be a universal panacea. The Tesla Model 3 is a fantastic car to drive and when my next one arrives as an early Christmas and retirement present to myself it will be my main car. My Porsche and Commodore currently share weekend duties as I like the different pleasures they bring. The LR Discovery 3 is excellent for holidays and dirty work. My Falcon ute suits the Bunnings trips. When I had the Tesla here it was for a weekend drive as I had another car for work. If I was only allowed to buy one car, it would be a Tesla. My new one is the same as in the photo. Addendum. Madmuz I agree entirely with your statement: ... IMO, they really should push for EVs to replace ICE vehicles 'where suitable' ... not as a blanket 'replace all'...
