Is the Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Bandit Edition the most ICONIC movie car?

Great article Mark !! I have two Birds in my cage and dream of one day owning a Gen 5, which is available on the current Camaro platform. Yes, there are thousands of cameos by Firebirds on film but a couple of obscure ones worth noting, the recent "Once upon a time in Hollywood" and 1988's "Coming to America", also please don't forget the Aussie celluloid homages "Midnite Spares" staring James Laurie and Gia Carides and the Vampire classic "Daybreakers", however my personal favourite is Apu Nahasapeemapetilon's Redbird from the Simpsons, which he washes while singing along to Cheap Trick.( The Dream Police are going round in my Head ) Having owned my 2nd gen for over 30 years now I have noticed the appreciation of these iconic cars has now come into its own, long gone are the snears and giggles of yesteryear. May these amazing birds continue to soar high for years to come.
