The first TV show which drew my interest towards cars in the UK was a cop show called 'Z cars' which featured the latest Ford Zodiac. This was a good show in it's day and gave me a lot of respect for the police - out and about catching criminals on our highways and byways. They weren't quite as welcome years later when viewed from the rear vision mirror of my own car - whether I was speeding or not.
