I knocked on the door of this older Forum by Trombo, just to demonstrate how things progress. The Article is on the Home Page as I type this. Article Below, (part there-of) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ EVERYBODY’S been talking about the electric-car revolution in Australia being just around the corner for years – decades even – but ultimately high prices, low range and a woeful lack of governmental incentives have conspired against any sort of mainstream acceptance. However, that’s all set to change early next year when Hyundai launches the Kona Electric, with three very compelling things going for it. Firstly, it should cost around $50,000 when it launches in the first quarter of 2019. Secondly, some 400km is possible between charges. And, perhaps most importantly, thirdly, it’s an SUV, so therefore in with a real chance since that’s what Australian new-car buyers seem to love most.
