Old stock grill arrived courtesy of smash’n’bash couriers. They shrugged and said it was broken when sent leaving me with no recourse other than trying to glue it back together or try making one good grill out of both of them. I think I will try repairing first. Careful search of the box found most of the plastic. Will have to reinforce the joins with jb weld after the super glue dries. Mostly I'm using super glue here as a temporary repair to get the broken parts located first and minimise the amount of rework that will have to be done on the front. The JB Weld plastic repair tends to ooze out everywhere and while it is incredibly strong, it does take a while to harden sufficiently. Initial repair with super glue actually looks pretty good but it won’t be strong enough. Front is a bit of a mess and will need sanding and painting, but I won't do that until after I know the super glue is finished hardening and the epoxy layer on top of that has hardened too. What a faff.
