Yes JW, I'm a Lancia fan from way back when, but I've only ever appreciated the design, performance and motor sport achievements without wanting to own one for reasons you've outlined. Memories of a mate's Montecarlo, which he imported from the UK and which proceeded to bubble with crippling structural rust, remain vivid to this day. Even so, three of my favourite Lancias are the Montecarlo, Fulvia and of course the legendary Stratos.
