The Gold coloured XR XT GT Falcon was a hit in my book. With the 289 and T-Bar it sported the nick name of 'Poor Man's Mustang'. Worth a heap of Moolah now! I can sing the praises of the FE Wagon too, after the one I owned in 1973 worked like a Trojan and never failed despite overloading from Melbourne to Brisbane Northside.
