Good morning madmuz. The photos below show where the current hose and line attach to the bracket behind the suspension. The second shows the holes in the chassis forward of the wheels that is used when disc brakes are fitted. The third shows the bracket held in place with tape at that location. The cross member has holes on top to insert the little plastic clips that retain the metal brake lines as they cross over from behind, where there are the tabs that you mention. The fourth photo was taken from the internet and has the hose forward of the wheel. I could be totally wrong so feel free to correct me. Unfortunately the workshop manuals do not have any diagrams.
