My company 1981 VC Commodore didn't have a cassette player - just a bog standard radio. AAACV8, the 11 transistor Astor Diamond Dot radio, which was a BMC accessory in my 1970 1800, but also available to all other manufacturers has a few dud transistors and I'm told you can't replace them. Any suggestions on how to convert it over to a different system and keep the outside looking as it did when it was new?
