Any discussion about vast automotive length would not be complete without including the USSR's ZIL-4104 (aka ZIL-114) limousine built in limited numbers by Moscow-based manufacturer Zavod Imeni Likhacheva (now wonder they called it ZIL) between the late 1970s and early 1980s. The longest of these colossal cars was reportedly slightly longer than even the Cadillac Fleetwood 75 nine-seater mentioned in my intro and powered by massive pushrod V8s up to 470cid (7.7-litre) displacement. So much for American excess comrade!
