Muz, it looks like the glass is held in at the front under the dashboard and held in by the two big plugs. It comes loose anyway so I could mask it off when the paint goes on.
The trouble with masking the glass off, is any overspray at all will ruin it... I would rather get the glass out, clean and bag it so it can't get damaged... paint the body. then put the glass back in... up to you. Hey Lark... can you show us some of your models that you have rescued or customised?
Better late than never. '61 Pontiac Tempest. Another Ebay glue bomb I took a punt on. Body was good, but Little Johnny must have used a whole tube of glue on the interior. There's only so much I can do, at least the glass and dash pad were spared the horror.
