Freeway, the Mini is a little gem and BentleyT, it just goes to show that you do not need an exotic supercar to attract attention. A couple of days ago I picked up an Air Chief 11 radio. It is the 13 transistor version. These days car radios have millions. It was sensibly priced unlike the majority. It had been stored for 30 years. I changed the burnt globe behind the display for a modern LED light and the unit functions. It will have pride of place in the instrument fascia of my project HQ. Plan B was to hybridise a non-functioning Air Chief that I have with modern internals.
