Mention of the Jaguar XK150 on P.107 of PonyRider's Dream Car Forum reminded me of the XK120 which featured in a 2009 Episode of Top Gear (Series 13/Ep.1) The 'Race to The North' visualised turning the clock back to 1949 by pitting 3 of the fastest means of land transport at the time against each other in a race between London and Edinburgh. *Due to all the town bi-passes since then (favouring the car and the bike) plus a 75mph max limit and water troughs no longer in-situ for the Steam Train, the race was a lot closer than it would otherwise have been in 1949. For those who have never seen it or would like to see it again here it is in (4) parts. Enjoy: *Don't worry about signing up to anything. Just scroll down the page and click on play (plus the full screen icon) of each part in turn. 1) https://www.topgear.com/videos/top-gear-tv/great-train-race-part-14-series-13-episode-1 2) https://www.topgear.com/videos/top-gear-tv/great-train-race-part-24-series-13-episode-1 3) https://www.topgear.com/videos/top-gear-tv/great-train-race-part-34-series-13-episode-1 4) https://www.topgear.com/videos/top-gear-tv/great-train-race-part-44-series-13-episode-1
