The TC Cortina proved a popular platform for 1970s Sports Sedan racers like Pat Crea. He attracted a rather unusual sponsor in Scotties tissues, which had 300 sheets per box, hence his matching race number! Pat fitted a Ford V8 (not sure if 302 or 351) plus a huge front spoiler, wide wheels/tyres shrouded by bulging wheel-arch flares and a stripped-out interior. The twin-headlight grille exclusive to the six cylinder TCs looked great on this car. It was one muscular-looking Cortina.
