Surprisingly, Mercury made a wagon version of the Cougar for just one year, 1977. Really a fill-in between the Montego of 1976 and the introduction of the Zephyr in 1978. Production of the Cougar Villager amounted to 8569. Ten years is a long way from the original 1967 Cougar!
