Yes Silvercloud, Ford Australia did a commendable job in transitioning prestige buyers from their much-loved imported/converted Galaxies of the 1960s to local 1970s replacements with the LTD and, to a lesser extent, the Landau. The sheer opulence of those cars is still impressive compared to today's luxury offerings from overseas.
