Given the generally bad reviews these cars copped in the various motoring publications when new, the generally positive ownership experiences shared here paint a very different picture. Harky, regarding the Repco Trial Cortinas, I think you'll find they were not TDs but the next generation TE models. By all accounts they were brilliant rally cars that were superior to the VB Commodores in many ways, but the whole Ford effort was compromised by a lack of preparation time and poor logistical support for the cars during the event.
