no the caravelle had renault 10 running gear so the 1100 cc over the dauph that was 850 cc the fluoride had the dauph gordini engine.. ive seen 1600 engines put into a dauph putting out around 150 hp and that is a scary power to weight concept... back in the day there was a few hill climb dauphs that had mid mounted 202 red engines jammed in them :) ive loved my rear engined renaults since buying my first in the 80's.. and over time its just got worse.... :) these are 2 of my special rear engined renaults in my collection:) 8 gordini and group 5 replica a310 alpine
