Trial by fire. 900km round trip to pick up two Cleveland 302 motors, one dead, one as a replacement. The replacement isn’t quite in the condition I’d like but rickets was amazing for something that hasn’t been driven for years. The only thing that went wrong was my cobbled together throttle cable mount, had to stop in Scone to reengineer it but otherwise rickets didn’t use a drop of oil and even managed to climb the Moonbi mountains at the speed limit with 700kg of motors. Fuel economy was however atrocious 😩
