This is the red tin-top Mustang I'm planning to rent for a summer week-end.It uses the Ford V6 of 3.7 liters and develops 300 horse-power and 280 foot pounds of torque. It's a good engine and will easily pin you to your seat if you use a heavy foot. I've also driven the 2.3 liter turbo' four cylinder Mustang but get hung up on it not being normal for a Mustang to have a four pot engine. The only addition to help the looks would be a thin chrome strip down both sides, just my opinion but I think it would help a lot other wise it's a plain Jane sports car. This model is not set up for a true blue sports car experience,it's basically a daily driver and fills the bill admirably. The two V8's offered are excellent, the larger engine being a flat plane crank which sounds like two synchronized four cylinder engines. The smaller V8 has the traditional gurgle which I love. The long ground shadows are due to us opening at 6am which beats 6a.m in the winter...LOL...'Boomer'...
