I had a couple of Dodge Phoenix V8s ( the local version of a Plymouth Fury) both had the very reliable Chrysler 318 motor. Once when driving up my street, an elderly neighbour hailed me down. She was waving me to stop and I thought she was going to give me a gobfull about my noisy car. Instead, as I wound down the window, she poked her head in and with a big smile and said, " I just love the sound of your car coming up the street, it reminds me of my late husband's car - it's a beautiful sound" Indeed it is!
