A bit more work has occurred on the ute. Slow and steady. Today a friend of mine gave me a Holden M17 gearbox, the same three speed manual as I already have. I will give it a scrub and keep it as a spare. A few posts back there was a discussion of a floor shifter. This box has a SPECO 3-speed floor shifter on it. If I had to convert to a floor shift, it would be at least a four speed or an automatic.
