My Freeway has a crank handle along with a hole in the front bumper, like its sister car, the Wolseley 24/80 seen here. The wheel brace, which doubles as the crank handle is also used for winding down the spare wheel tray. I would dread the day I have to crank mine, as first you have to remove the front number plate and cope with a compression ratio of about 8:1. No crank handles ever came with the transverse Mini or the 1800.......
