Darren M yes it is disappointing the GTR-X didn't get produced for the masses, (even the Holden Hurricane was a contender) this happens with Car Manufacturers doesn't it ? . Below is a photo of the Prototype First Mustang 360 that was never produced. I'm not sure if it was FibreGlass or Metal, Maybe someone else knows ?
