I didn’t get permission to write about the team madmuz. Another 5 litres did the trick. It still isn’t mint but it isn’t terrible, I’ve seen a lot worse in cars that ran and drove well. It now shifts crisply into drive and reverse. Still not idling properly so will give that a half hour or so to check the timing which I haven’t looked at as I set the distributor by eye rather than using a timing light. Feeling a bit better about it this morning. Trans cooler was trivial to fit which was nice at the end of the flush process.
