Another US automotive favourite that didn't find many buyers in Australia was the huge Holden Suburban SUV, which was in local showrooms for a relatively brief period in the late 1990s-early 2000s. It was basically a Holden-badged RHD version of the Chevy Suburban, but even the much-loved (well, at that time anyway) Holden badge could not convince most Aussies that it was simply far too large for most local suburban driveways, garages, carports and car parks. I remember the joke at the time was that the Suburban was so large it needed its own postcode! They certainly sold a few at the time, but I can't remember the last time I saw one on the road. They must be rare-as.
