In all the 40 years I have owned my Hillman Super Minx Convertible I have never known of the Humber Vogue Sports. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. It is a very good looking car and has the front end like the Sceptre. I am always amazed though, how they make family cars that are faster than what is needed, especially today when the cars are so fast and no where to use speed properly and legally. I always grew up with the old fashion idea that if one wanted a fast car one could buy a sports car and family cars were for the family. And if one was going to spend more money on a family car then that car would be more luxurious rather than just faster. Today were are sold even more speed, performance and gadgets than true luxury. That's because we just don't want luxury anymore for the family. If it is expensive then we accept that as luxury. Sports is associated with most cars today, be it a SUV, the seats, the black sport interior, the wheels and tyres, and the look alike cars that have the common fast back or roof line, which seems now to even includes the modern station wagon, which seems to be more of a sports car now than a spacious family utility.
