Hi. Just stumbled across your post here, though not sure how old it is, and thought you might be interested to know there's another Husky out here in NZ. Mine's a 56 like yours, and modified too, though a little differently to yours - it's all Mazda Mx5 running gear including subframes. It's my daily driver.
