Hi mark,as a long time Gemini owner and owner of the 1981 first 1600 home and 3rd place in 4 cylinder class gemini i am really pleased by this story,i know one or two of the people involved in Gemini's back in late 70's and early 80's..i really miss the groupc era,a time when car's we could by were raced,yes there were a few odd imports like the Bartlett camaro the 6 series BMW's and even 2 twin cam Gemini's(that both exist)...but unlike the current car's they were proper touring car's. glad to see the gemini's place in bathurst history being acknowledged.
