Took it outside so I could power wash the steering box and linkages. Lots of caked on grease it wasn’t super successful but at least I can see the mounting bolts now. Got zero excuses not to get that box out and inspect it although that means the shed will be occupied by a non functional car while I wait for parts. Unavoidable I suppose. Decided to give it a quick wash while I was at it. The paint is a bit chalky in places but a wax might bring it back a bit. Have found a new grille to replace this broken one hopefully will see that this week. Seems unnecessary but it was under $100 so I figured why not. Also changed out the squealing v belts which were well worn and perished.
