AAACV8 I agree with your selection of the 2017 Holden Calais Director as a GT based on mine having now covered almost 110,000 km. The 'magneto rheological dampers' do provide a great ride provided you put the car on 19" wheels as intended by the engineers. The marketers pushed for 20" and from my experience the ride suffered and the tyres far too easily damaged. I secured a 19" OE staggered width wheel set last October and the ride is superb and no further tyres damaged. In addition, it has the chassis and performance to also be a great tow car. Off to the Bends in South Australia with the MX-5 clubs later this month which will add another 2,500 km to the odometer.
