Your car caught my eye, being an immaculate example and so similar to a Cooper S that I owned between Jan '69 and June '73. Mine was Castrol Green also with a white roof. Have you ever done any club competition with your car? How long have you owned it? I've owned so many cars since my Cooper S but it was a very important part of my motoring life. It was the works Hopkirk / Foley car that finished 3rd in class at Bathurst in 1967. A mate of mine's father was a BMC dealer and bought it for him from the factory after the race and I bought it a year later to go racing in Series Production touring cars, which I did in '69 and '70, then just did club speed events when things got a bit expensive. My car has been fully restored by Greg Coates up in Brisbane and he has it looking exactly as it did for Bathurst. I helped him with its racing provenance, sending him my original CAMS log book for it.
