Easy one, Joe. Ford's 1965 Galaxie with the 390 cid V8 was for me the definitive American sedan for Aussie families that liked big, strong and powerful cars. I've always loved the clean lines of those '65 Fords and the space and comfort they offered at the time was exceptional. A bloke I know owned one of these for many years and it was just a brilliant all-rounder. Could tow a heavy trailer with ease and with the four-coil suspension it just glided along rough rural roads. Would gladly have one of these in the garage today.
