Thanks madmuz. The Renault Fuego is an interesting choice and goes to show how diverse the French automotive heritage is. I'd have to say another of my all-time favourites is Peugeot's class-defining hot hatch - the original 205 GTI. What a fantastic little car! The handling and grip levels were beyond belief. Peugeot also built 200 special versions called the 205 Turbo 16, for Group B rally homologation in the 1980s. These were just like the rally cars with mid-mounted engine, all wheel drive, flared guards and a whole rear body section that tipped up to access the engine. Totally wild!
