Thanks for the comments, gentlemen. It is quite remarkable what a family sedan can do and not for a huge, relatively speaking, outlay. The F40 analogy is interesting Steve. In the old days supercars were largely defined by their acceleration and now that has been ruined by these quick and much cheaper 'sleeper' electric cars. Mind you, last week I did see a very nice F40 here in Perth and it had that lovely old fashioned Ferrari sound, even with the turbos. Mark, I agree in that a ground up dedicated EV platform is the way to go for many reasons including balance. PonyRider, we are equal now because your lovely Mustang makes me green with envy! Madmuz, I like your video and it confirms what I have always thought; the Model 3 has excellent balance and handling. Flat4, thanks for the compliments. The car is a dream to drive. I am partial to red and the dark accents suit the colour(to steal from Mellencamp, Cherry Bomb?). I went for the white interior this time just for the change. A worker at a facility I attended this morning to do a little work, told me that he was blinded by the glare reflecting off the seats from my parked car. When inside, it is fine and even in summer the seats do not become hot. I have attached more photos of the car in the delivery centre, a large warehouse in a light industrial area, and one of me driving it out.
