During the seven years I spent back in the UK between 1988 and '95 I would have given anything to have taken my '74 302ci XB Fairmont GS with me and put it on display at the annual car show in Abbey Park Leicester. Although not considered a Muscle Car in the true sense here in Australia, it would have been a knockout in England and if you need a further example of how the Brits reacted to the best Australia had to offer just remember how Top Gear loved the (Vauxhall) Monaro. *I will always have fond memories of my XB, which (today) would be well worth everything a fellow enthusiast was prepared to pay for it.
